Move to Shopify without losing momentum.
From Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or a custom cart — no traffic, customers, or momentum lost at cutover.
A migration plan with a rollback in it.

Replatforming this year? The audit comes first and stands on its own — every URL, integration and custom behaviour catalogued before anyone commits to a date. Tell us what you’re on or see the rest of the practice.
Five steps, and the boring ones come first.
Replatforming is where traffic, revenue, and trust get lost — almost always to things that were knowable in advance. We front-load the boring parts so cutover night is uneventful.
Audit before anyone commits
Every URL, every template, every integration, every custom behaviour someone built in 2019 and forgot. The inventory is the plan — you can't preserve what you haven't catalogued.
Map the redirects, one to one
Old URL to new URL, with the long tail included: filtered collections, legacy campaign links, PDPs that changed handle. SEO equity survives redirect maps, not good intentions.
Migrate the data, then validate it
Products, variants, customers, order history, subscriptions. Then reconcile counts and spot-check the edges — the records that break rules are the ones that break the store.
Rehearse the cutover
A dated runbook: who does what, in what order, and the exact conditions that trigger a rollback. We run it before we run it for real.
Watch the first weeks
Rankings, 404s, conversion, checkout errors. Migration isn't done at launch — it's done when the numbers say it's done.
Questions we get.
How long does a replatform take?
It depends far more on integration and data complexity than on page count. A clean catalogue with standard integrations moves quickly; ERP, subscriptions, wholesale pricing, and bespoke checkout logic set the real timeline. The audit gives you a dated plan before you commit.
Will we lose search rankings?
Not if the redirect map is complete and the content parity holds. Ranking loss after a migration is almost always traceable to missed URLs, thin migrated content, or a slower site — all three are preventable, and all three are on the checklist.
What about order history and customer accounts?
Both migrate. Customer passwords can't transfer between platforms — that's a platform constraint, not a choice — so the plan includes a reset flow and the comms around it.
Can you migrate from a custom or headless build?
Yes. Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and bespoke carts. The less standard the source, the more the audit stage earns its keep.
