Shopify Plus

Enterprise-grade commerce.

Building on Shopify since 2013, and on Shopify Plus since Plus launched. For brands that have outgrown the defaults: migrations to Plus, wholesale/B2B channel builds, ERP and systems integration, and the data layer that makes Plus worth it.

What's included

Built for scale and complexity.

  • Custom checkout extensibility

LFL Group — a multi-banner Shopify Plus estate with custom checkout and ERP integration behind it.
How we do it

Plus is a toolbox, not an upgrade.

Moving to Plus doesn't make a business enterprise-grade. What it does is open the extensibility to fix the things that were forcing workarounds — if you know which ones to reach for.

  1. Establish what Plus is actually for here

Checkout extensibility, multi-storefront, native B2B, Functions, higher API limits. We start by naming which of those solve a problem you actually have.

  2. Design the checkout deliberately

Checkout extensibility replaced scripts — validation, discounts, delivery customisation, and UI extensions each have a right tool. Getting this architecture right is most of the value.

  3. Wire B2B and DTC as one operation

Catalogues, price lists, payment terms, and ordering flows that share inventory and reporting instead of running as two businesses that happen to share a warehouse.

  4. Integrate the back office honestly

ERP, POS, PIM, and CRM connected through the middleware between them — with the buy-vs-build call made on the merits, not on what's easiest to sell.

  5. Prove it under load

Peak readiness is a rehearsal, not a hope: load paths, failure modes, and the monitoring to see trouble before customers do.

Since the beginning

We didn't migrate to Plus. We started on it.

A Shopify Partner since 2013, building on Plus from the day it launched — which means we've watched every part of it arrive. Scripts, then Functions. Checkout.liquid, then checkout extensibility. Wholesale as a separate channel, then B2B as a native one. We've had to migrate our own work across each of those transitions.

That's the difference on a Plus engagement: we know which features are load-bearing and which were marketing, which ones Shopify has deprecated once already, and which workaround you're carrying is about to stop being necessary. It's the kind of thing you only get from having been there for the whole arc.

FAQ

Questions we get.

When is Plus actually worth it?

When you're hitting real constraints — checkout logic you can't express, B2B and DTC fighting each other, multi-region or multi-brand storefronts, or API limits throttling operations. If none of those are true, the money is better spent elsewhere, and we'll say so.

We're on Plus already and it doesn't feel different. Why?

Usually because the extensibility was never used — the store was lifted across as-is. The value is in checkout, B2B, Functions, and the integration layer, and none of that arrives by default.

Can B2B run on the same store as DTC?

Yes, natively on Plus — company profiles, catalogues, price lists, and payment terms. Whether it should share a storefront depends on how different the two buying experiences need to be.

Do you handle the ERP integration too?

Yes. Systems integration is a core part of the transformation practice, not a subcontract — ERP, POS, PIM, and CRM through the middleware between them.
