How we do it

Support that compounds instead of just responding.

Most support arrangements are insurance: you pay to be allowed to report problems. Ours are built so the store is measurably better at the end of each quarter than the start.

  1. Instrument first

Uptime, checkout errors, Core Web Vitals, and the integration jobs that fail quietly. You can't support what you can't see, and most stores are flying blind on at least one of those.

  2. Triage against impact

A broken checkout and a misaligned button are not the same emergency. Clear severities, a defined response path, and no theatre.

  3. Spend the improvement block deliberately

Each cycle carries capacity for optimisation, not just fixes — the backlog is prioritised on revenue impact and reviewed with you, not silently consumed.

  4. Report what changed and why

What we did, what moved, and what we recommend next. Outcomes over output means the reporting has to be legible to someone who isn't technical.

FAQ

Questions we get.

What counts as an emergency?

Anything blocking revenue or data integrity: checkout down, payments failing, catalogue or inventory desynced, site unavailable. Those get an immediate path. Cosmetic and enhancement work goes to the improvement block.

Is this just a block of hours?

No. Hours-based retainers reward slow work. These are structured around monitoring, a response commitment, and a prioritised improvement backlog you help set.

Can we start support on a store you didn't build?

Yes, and it's common. It starts with an audit — stack, integrations, performance, and technical debt — so we're supporting something we actually understand.

What happens if we want to leave?

Everything is documented and lives in your repo. Direct by default means no hostage architecture — you should stay because it's working, not because leaving is expensive.
